Stephanie & Kurt’s Cielo’s Garden Wedding

Stephanie & Kurt had a beautiful Cielo’s Garden wedding. It was a lovely day; just the right amount of warmth, but cool enough for the groomsmen not to sweat through their shirts, which if you’ve been a groomsman at all you can definitely appreciate good balanced weather like this.

They started off with getting ready separately (nothing like building the anticipation!). The girls in the cutest little B&B nearby.

A must: a moment with mom before the day really gets going (and gets busy). Make sure in the morning, when you’re getting ready, you surround yourself with all your fav people – like Stephanie did. I’m sure she would agree that it’s the perfect way to start the day (and one of the wisest wedding decisions you can make).

Having some children in the mix they worked with Colleen to add some personal family details to the ceremony. It was the perfect touch and really showed the love in bringing the family together.

The ceremony took place in the chapel on the Cielo’s Garden grounds. If you’re not familiar with it it’s nestled in the forest on property. After the ceremony guess headed down through the woods to the clearing by the tent for the cocktail hour.

The wedding party finished up with family photos and then some fun photos of just them, then it was almost time for reception. We got everybody lined up for the Grand Entrance and got the party started. The Emcees did a great job entertaining us throughout the night and it was filled with great memories and laughter and comical speeches.

The night wouldn’t be complete without a cake and some cake cutting! How charming is this cute little cutting cake? Thanks Cocoa Bean; we’re always thrilled with your cakes.

Late night snack is a must with an out of town wedding where the party will go late. Set the Bar did a fun spread for them (I’m sorry we don’t have photos but you’ll have to take our word for it). And there’s also a great fireplace area on the property which is wonderful for a little warm-up in between dancing.

Sparkler moments are the best. We LOVE them (they can be hard to organized but so worth it). And Cielo’s Garden has a great set up for this. Not that it was specifically designed for this, but we do have to say it works very well.

Your guests can simply line the pathway that leads out of the tent and can cheer you on as you leave for the night -sparklers in hand – and you can get some really beautiful images and memories.

(If your wedding venue and time isn’t quite set up like this you can always have a moment of sparklers on the dance floor, or enjoy this with just your wedding party for a little bit more of an intimate moment.)

The night went on and so did the dancing. Cheers Stephanie & Kurt – we hope you’re doing well!
