Ainsley & Adam’s Fall Starlit Point Wedding
Oh man, I don’t even know where to start with these two and their fall Starlit Point wedding. Firstly, it was oozing romance. The women were in flirty fun dresses, the men were in their best suits and dress wear and I’m talking about the guests here. They showed up ready for a wedding, for sure!
Before the wedding, Ainsley & Adam did some photos in the city and one of our favourite spots; the English Garden in the Assiniboine Park. It’s amazing how the colours change throughout the season and how it changes the whole atmosphere of the park. It was a little darker, greener, frosted with amber in the changing of the leaves. It was fall romance perfected.
The ceremony was held on-site, overlooking the river, at Starlit Point. It was a short and personal ceremony with some family photos (as quickly as I could, I got through their list, knowing everyone was chilly and ready for a drink) as guests moved over for the cocktail hour in the courtyard.
The day was a little chilly but the couple was ready with cosy blankets for the guests and a fire was started in the courtyard by the tent.
Live music always. If you’re considering it and you’re not too sure the answer is always “Yes!!”. If you can fit it in do it, you’ll never regret it. It fills the space wonderfully and warms up the atmosphere so beautifully.
The evening was a mix of courses, drinks, and speeches full of jabs. Laughter, love and, memories.
