Kirsten & Matt’s Farmyard Meets Art Gallery Wedding

Kirsten & Matt had really fun vision for their farmyard meets art gallery wedding. When I asked them where the ceremony was going to be I’m pretty sure the answer was “In the middle of no where, but you’re going to love it”. They were right. The ceremony took place on a family property (that used to be a homestead) with no running water. The bride’s parents have been restoring it piece by piece as a little country get away and it couldn’t have been more charming.

We were surrounded with miles of grasslands and it was most peaceful calm and sunny day.

After the ceremony and little cocktail hour we all headed back to the city for a rooftop reception. Cocktail out of the rooftop terrace at The WAG followed by a reception full of memories and laughter.

The bride even surprised the groom with a brass band for their first dance (it wasn’t easy figuring out how we were going to hid them all and that big tuba).

It was a perfect day. Here are some of our favourite photos of it all.
