Brides, you all want that healthy glow for your wedding, but we don’t want you to go after that at a cost. If you didn’t already know many cosmetics out there are full of harmful chemicals and toxins which of course will have long term and damaging effects (even if they make your skin feel soft and clear for a while).
Part of your wedding planning should include a beauty regimen that brings out the best in you (I’m not just talking about on the outside, but that’s a whole other post!). Planning for your wedding is a great time to plan out what you want to do daily and weekly for your body and skin (and establish and keep those habits! Your 50 year old self will thank you!).
A few years ago I started paying more attention to the labels on the products I used, did my research and was shocked what was in some of the products. I went through a big shift to go as natural as I could. It’s no easy task, let me tell you, but it’s been so worth it. I feel better health wise and my skin is happy too.

By far my fav natural makeup! If you haven’t heard of or tried Bare Minerals it’s a must. They have a full range of products so you don’t have to go to one company for foundation, another for mascara, and other for eye shadow, because we all know how annoying that is. Get yourself a starter kit (like the one above) and add to your collection as you go. Best switch for my skin that I’ve ever made!

Avalon Organics is another brand that I adore. I use both the night and the day cream. Honestly, it’s the best!
