There’s a lot to a wedding day, and we’re here to help you with as much or as little as you need!

We’re always making changes, making our packages better and, more functional for our clients. Below is a broad stock of what’s (currently) included in our Full Planning package.

The Full Wedding Planning Package​​​​​​​​​​
The Full Wedding Package includes unlimited Wedding Consultation services and all the services listed in The Wedding Day Coordination Package. It also includes an assistant (as needed), unlimited emails and phone calls to make planning that much easier for you!
Wedding Consultation​​​​​​​​​​
• Discussing your wedding theme, budget, vendor selection, itinerary, and any questions, concerns or unique family dynamics you may have regarding the planning of your day

Wedding Design/Styling

• Amanda Douglas Events will help to pick your colours, theme, and décor design for your ceremony and reception spaces and the overall feel you are going for (including colour palette, theme, floral designs, linens, lighting, and more).

• Assist in room layout and set up (as needed).

• Personalized Pin Board; a design and inspiration board of hand-picked photos exclusively for your wedding

Wedding Etiquette & Traditions​​​​​​​​​​
• The dos and don’ts to planning, showers, invitations, programs, and of course the wedding. Deciding what traditions you want to pick, what’s important to you and your family, and what works with your theme​
• Assistance in selecting your menu
• Assistance in the song selection for entrances, exits, and special dances
Vendor Selection​​​​​​​​​​
• Researching vendors and venues most suitable to your theme and wedding
• Arranging appointments to meet with vendors and accompany you to the meetings, if needed
• Confirming with all of your contracted vendors a minimum of 2 weeks before your wedding day​
• Assisting in the selection of your theme and colour palette
Budget Management​​​​​​​​​​
• Assisting you in preparing a realistic budget for all your wedding-related expenses
• Administering your budget – we’ll help you stay on track, advising you on budget items and overages
Guest List Management​​​​​​​​​​
• Tracking RSVPs, dietary restrictions and the number of guests attending
• Assisting you with the creation of the seating plan
• Arranging accommodation options, travel information, and entertainment options for your guests coming from out of town
Rehearsal Coordination​​​​​​​​​​
• Assisting you in coordinating your wedding ceremony rehearsal
• Meeting with your pastor, wedding officiate, and/or site coordinator regarding the unique details and timeline for the ceremony
• Meeting with your pastor, officiate, or site coordinator; setting up décor for the ceremony, and confirming final details and any changes with you before your wedding day
Wedding Ceremony Coordination​​​​​​​​​​
• ​​​​​​​​​​​Assist in the creation of day-of schedule, ceremony schedule as well as reception service
• Overseeing the coordination of your wedding ceremony
• Ensuring all décor is in place prior to the ceremony
• Preparing your wedding party and groom for their entrance to the ceremony
• Preparing you for your walk down the aisle
• Ensuring that all décor is removed after your wedding ceremony
Wedding Reception Coordination​​​​​​​​​​
• Ensuring all décor items and table settings are in place before your guests arrive
• Preparing you and your wedding party for your entrance
• Managing your reception schedule – notifying you when it is almost time for dinner, your first dance, your cake, and of course speeches!
• Ensuring that your reception site is cleaned up and all décor, accessories, etc. are packed up and taken away and back to the appropriate people/vendors
• Assist in creating MC notes
• Assistance in room layout and set up
• Distribute order of service and schedule to vendors such as DJ, location rental, videographer etc.
